    Does botox cause dependence?

It is a voluntary aesthetic choice, comparable to the desire to see yourself with or without make-up: you can stop whenever you like, and facial movement returns exactly as before within a few months.

    Is there a difference between botox for men and botox for women?

    Yes, especially in the quantities. Most men have thicker skin and more pronounced expression lines, so the units of botulinum toxin required are generally greater than for a female patient. The distribution of the injections is also slightly different, because the muscle structure and the position of the eyebrow are not identical. The treatment plan is nonetheless always tailored to each patient's individual facial movement, regardless of gender.

    From what age can botox be done?

    Chronological age is not a precise limit. Below 18, aesthetic botox is not indicated. So-called preventive botox, considering that skin ageing in many cases begins as early as between 25 and 30, may be considered from that age onwards — but always after an individual assessment. Some people do not need it even before 50, others request it much earlier: there is no single rule, there is a case-by-case assessment.

    What is mini-botox or preventive botox?
