VIDIX — Digital Videodermatoscope

VIDIX is the digital dermatoscope we use for dermoscopic diagnosis and for mole mapping. It is the reference technology for:

• Complete mole mapping with digital archiving of every lesion and comparison of images over time
• Early diagnosis of melanoma and other suspicious pigmented lesions
• Trichological analysis of the scalp for the diagnosis and monitoring of alopecia, including the assessment of follicular miniaturisation
• Photographic documentation of skin conditions for follow-up

The ability to compare images over time is the key advantage of VIDIX: it makes it possible to detect even the smallest changes, invisible to the naked eye, which are essential both in melanoma prevention and in monitoring the effectiveness of therapies.

Fractional CO2 Laser

The fractional CO2 laser is one of the most versatile technologies in aesthetic dermatology. It creates controlled microscopic treatment zones, stimulating the production of new collagen without damaging the surrounding tissue. Indications include:

• Acne scars, both atrophic and post-traumatic
• Pigmentation irregularities and photoageing
• Fine wrinkles and skin laxity
• Uneven texture and enlarged pores

Light Source for Photodynamic Therapy (PDT)

For photodynamic therapy we use a red LED light source calibrated to the optimal wavelength (630-635 nm) for activating the photosensitiser. PDT is indicated for:

• Moderate-to-severe acne resistant to conventional therapies
• Actinic keratoses and other precancerous lesions
• Bowen's disease in selected cases
• Fields of cancerisation in patients with chronic sun damage

Professional Microneedling Instruments

For aesthetic microneedling we use electrical devices with oscillating needles, which allow:

• Precise depth control (0.5-2.5 mm depending on the area and the goal)
• Treatment tailored to each patient
• The option of delivering specific active ingredients
• Short recovery times

Dermatologic Surgery Instruments

• Biopsy punches of various sizes for skin biopsies
